The prairies offer an abundance of big, bold beautiful skies, whether it is sunset or sunrise and the backdrop for us in Southern Alberta is the magnificent Foothills always changing colour with every season. We live under the Chinook Arch the rolling hills and open spaces. Creeks and rivers flow through golden fields. We have winds that blow the seasons in and out and we live where a handshake still means something.
I paint from this perspective – expressive and impressionistic, bold and bright and for the abstract in all of us!
